This paper examines potential ways to observe and manage
the creation and exchange of tacit knowledge within an
organization. Techniques such as communities of
practice and the use of a shared workspace are evaluated
using specific examples from a case study. In addition,
the role of management is examined along with several
approaches that can be used to facilitate effective
knowledge sharing. 2007
